Everyone is entitled to their opinion. And... some people have very 'strong' opinions. Which is the exact reason Lee and I told no one what we were naming Blaise before she was born. We knew full well that there would be lovers and haters. We just didn't want differing opinions to effect our decision, because it was the name we wanted.
When people ask what her name is we get those that genuinely love it, those who are surprised by it, and those who show they clearly don't like it by quickly changing the subject or just walking away. We actually think it's hilarious.
No one had yet had the nerve to come out and say. 'I hate that name'. But my mom got a call from "unnamed" the other day that proceeded to tell her that Blaise was THE ugliest name for such a cute little girl and we need to change it. HA. This person is known for her strong opinions, so it is laughable, but come on, really? Sorry haters, we are not changing our daughters name!!

Blessing
We blessed Blaise on Easter Sunday at my mom's house. It was actually really nice to do it at home with just our families. And we couldn't have asked for a more beautiful day! We are so thankful to those that made the drive.

These pictures were taken almost 3 weeks ago already. My baby will be one month old on Sunday! She's already changed so much.
Though we've had many a sleepless nights, I cannot imagine life without this little girl!

Baby Blaise
Blaise Elizabeth Oler joined us at 8:03pm on Sunday April 10, 2011 (right on her due date!) weighing in at 7lbs 3oz, 19.5 inches. After 26 hours of labor, we were so happy when she finally arrived, happy and healthy! I already look at her and want to cry at the thought of her growing up. She completes us and we are so blessed to have her.
