38 weeks and 4 days...11 days to go.. Why did Heavenly Father decide to make human gestation so LONG? 280 days is a long time! I'm sure my poor husband is sick of me complaining about being fat and uncomfortable, but I just want to hold her in my arms instead of my belly! Oh..And did I mention the fact that I'm the size of a large whale? Cuz I am.

I really hate the receiving blankets you buy at the store that are so small you couldn't swaddle a mouse in, and for some reason the only way to find nice big ones is to make them yourself. So while I was in Raymond this week, my mom and I decided to attempt to make this self-binding receiving blanket. It turned out sooo cute and was super easy. Though if any of you know my sewing skills (or lack thereof), you'll know I mainly sat and watched. But my mom did an amazing job :)

Bittersweet...

Today was my last day of work for a whole YEAR...
Not gonna lie, I shed a tear or two. I love my job (usually ;)) and everyone I work with. Don't get me wrong, I'm excited, butttt a little freaked out that I have to push out a baby in a few short weeks. How did this pregnancy go by so quick?!!
So..besides that, I'm husbandless yet again. Lately when I get home from work, Lee leaves for work, and when he gets home from work I'm sleeping already or pretty dang close to it. So I haven't seen him since Tuesday and now he's in Lethbridge until Saturday. Then next week he's off to Utah (apparently for just one day, but how do you go to Utah for just one day??)
I guess as long as he's here when I go into labour, all is good!
