My baby girl is 9 months, I can't believe it!
She is crawling around like crazy, into everything! We had to put up a gate so she couldn't get to the stairs. I would like to let her actually play on them and learn to climb up them, but there is tile at the bottom of the stairs and being that Blaise's legs are too short she can't quite get her knee on the step, causing too many bonks on the head :(
She's pulling herself up on everything and sometimes thinks she's a big girl and lets go, usually just to fall on her bum, but today she actually stood for about 4 seconds. haha.
She loves to wave and does it like its going out of style. She loves to wave at herself in the mirror when she gets out of bed.
In addition to dada, she now says momma and hi.
She's obsessed with peek a boo and does it with everything, even if it doesn't come close to covering her eyes (Like a straw :)
She'll kiss (open-mouth slobbery kisses) almost anyone and more often than not, slips you the tongue.
She still sleeps 13 hours at night (or longer) and has two long naps during the day.
She has six teeth.
She loves her daddy more than anything. When he gets home at night she literally clings to him until she goes to bed.
She is very tiny. She was super sick right before Christmas and we took her into a walk-in and they weighed her and she was only 16.5 pounds. She's still pretty chunky, she's just a tiny person. She has the tiniest feet you've ever seen.
We were at Wal-Mart today and she was sitting in the cart. I turned my head for 2 seconds and she somehow had twisted herself around and got both legs through the big opening in the middle. When I turned around she was holding on for dear life with a look of fear in her eyes, thank goodness, or she would've been a splat on the floor.
Here's a few pictures of our Blaisey bean from the last couple months.
I like this cart, no squirming out of it ;)
Just playing with Dad's homework
This is what happens when she hangs out with dad
Literally the only picture I took on Christmas day, lame.
Christmas this year was awesome. Lee had almost 4 weeks off, and we got to spend 10 days in BC. We had so much fun. It was so warm and we got to spend a day at the ski hill. Fresh snow, and warm weather, it was fantastic. Now its back to the grind, Lee's back in school, and I'm back to work in 2 months :(
I did find a dayhome for Blaise and I'm super happy about it. I'm nervous about leaving her but I know she'll be in good hands, and its only 2 days a week.
